[trx400_ex]

hi there i have a trx 400 ex and when its getting hot its cutting out on me
so i tryed setting the valve clearances on it which were really tight
so i set them to 004 and 005 at TDC but when i turn the crank over the tappets get really lose i done this from cold please help

You have to have the engine on top dead center of the compression stroke when you set the valves.

Rotate the engine counter clockwise on the LH end of the crankshaft with a socket. When the intake valve opens and then closes, set the crank at TDC and set the valves.
